About "The Well"

The Jacobs Well Bayside Tavern’s newly renovated restaurant “The Well” is both bistro fare and top end dining.

Enjoy a bright, friendly ambience in a modern setting.

Award winning Chef, Craig McVean, insists on all dishes being made on premise so the menu changes on a regular basis depending on seasons and what is the freshest produce available from the markets on a daily basis. He has also exhausted the fresh meat supply on the Coast ensuring customers only receive the best cuts of meat.

The Jacobs Well Tavern, being an old pub, has not forgotten its counter meal origins.

Looking out for locals and visitors alike the Bar offers great meals at great value. A local favourite is the ‘Fat Arse’ Chicken Parma. A meal that will satisfy the biggest hunger along with the ‘Traditional Steak Sanga’ with chips. Also always available on the menu is an old favourite, ‘Well Made’ Fish & chips.

Every Tuesday night is locals night where all meals from the Bar Menu (not including Oysters) are priced at $13.00. Be sure to book as this night has become extremely popular.

The Gold Coast and Brisbane are just a half hour drive away and you're guaranteed to enjoy the peaceful drive through the last of the South East Qld sugar cane fields and relax in the change of pace, once you leave the highway at Exit 49 and follow the signs.

See you soon at The Well.
